Satan finally got bored
Mother cut the cord
Sometimes things shouldn't happen twice
Lightning isn't supposed to strike the same place twice
People shouldn't ever leave twice
Once is enough
Just like when a father you've known strikes his wife
Even after all the morals he's brought you up to uphold
There's always a time and a place for second chances
That isn't one of them though
You should have more than one chance to love
Never more than one to hate
Go around the world twice
Talk to everyone once
Take second chances
Not second guesses
Make the right ones first
Make the right ones last.
