The author of this advertisement is obviously coming from the Montana Meth Project. This advertisement is probably being advertised because Montana has some sort of meth problem and they are trying to get their point across to young individuals. This ad is most likely targeting younger teenage women and parents. The tactics being used here is the scare factor. This ad is scary and very profound , and that is something that sticks with younger audiences and especially parents. The author does a very good job at targeting everyone and overall this ad is very powerful.
This author is probably from some nature/wildlife conservationist. This ad is being advertised because there is probably a lot of overfishing happening in the world right now. The author probably knew that everyone cares about pandas, and care that their going extinct. He also knows that probably nobody cares about tuna, even thought their being overfished and probably on the verge of extinction. This ad is really targeting everyone. It's targeting people who care about the world and about the animals inside it. The tactic being used here is guilt. It's very guilt related and speaks to people who take fish for granted. Overall, this ad make me personally feel guilty and I think it does a good job of exposing an animal that doesn't get as much attention as others.
